From the moment you reach out, you are in a safe, judgment-free zone. When we meet for coffee or a video call, we’ll establish your pronouns, the terms you use for each other, and talk about your vision for a day that feels genuinely comfortable and authentic.

Not at all. You can use any terminology that feels right for you—whether that’s husband, wife, spouse, partner, or a unique term you’ve created. Note: There is one mandatory legal sentence (the Monitum) required by Australian law where I must say "husband, wife, or spouse", but you are free to choose the most affirming option, and the rest of the ceremony is entirely up to you.

Yes! We’ve seen couples walk down two separate aisles to meet at the front, walk down a single aisle hand-in-hand, or even skip the aisle entirely and mingle with guests before casually kicking off the ceremony. Your wedding, your rules.

Absolutely. If we need to communicate with your venue coordinator, photographer, or musicians, we will ensure they are fully briefed on your pronouns, terminology, and specific wishes, so you don’t have to do the exhausting work of correcting people on your wedding day.

Yes. Since marriage equality became law in Australia, the official Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) and marriage certificates allow you to be legally recorded as Groom, Bride, or Partner. We will help you navigate the paperwork so it perfectly reflects your identity.
